Israeli army admits to death of two soldiers in Gaza

The Israeli regime's army announced that an officer and a soldier from its elite unit were killed due to the explosion of a tunnel in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israel’s Channel 12 television, citing sources, reported that the soldiers’ deaths in Rafah occurred due to the explosion of a tunnel entrance they were inspecting in one of the buildings.
In this regard, Israel Katz, the Israeli regime’s Minister of War, stated: “We stand with the families of the soldiers killed in Rafah during this difficult time and wish for a speedy recovery for the wounded.”
Meanwhile, Hebrew media quoted the Israeli army spokesperson as saying that two soldiers were also injured in two separate battles in the southern and northern Gaza Strip.
As a result, the number of Israeli army fatalities, whose names have been authorized for release since October 7, has reached 853.
