Netanyahu's trip to Azerbaijan postponed

The office of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, announced on Saturday evening that his pre-scheduled trip to Azerbaijan has been postponed due to developments in the Gaza Strip and Syria.

In a statement, the Israeli Prime Minister's office said: "Due to the developments in the Gaza Strip and Syria, and because of the intense political and security agenda, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to postpone his trip to Azerbaijan to another date."
According to RT Arabic, the statement added: The Israeli Prime Minister thanked Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev for the invitation and praised the warm relations between the two sides.
Meanwhile, the Hebrew website Walla, citing sources, reported: The trip was canceled because Ankara refused to grant permission for Netanyahu's plane to fly over Turkish airspace.
