Zionists fear arrest abroad amid Gaza genocide accusations

Israeli media reported that Benjamin Netanyahu’s personal security detail, part of the Shin Bet’s special protection unit, attended a recent event in the occupied territories wearing face masks. This was reportedly done to conceal their identities and protect them from possible arrests abroad.
The unusual move drew attention. According to Hebrew-language media, amid escalating international legal efforts to prosecute Israeli officials and military personnel for war crimes, Shin Bet officers have been officially instructed to hide their identities at public events.
Images from the event show Netanyahu’s security officers wearing masks, an unprecedented step for a unit tasked with protecting Israeli leaders. This reflects growing concerns about exposing the identities of individuals involved in actions overseen by the regime’s security apparatus.
These directives come as international organizations continue to issue arrest warrants and pursue legal actions against members of Israel’s military and security institutions. Face coverings serve as both physical and legal protection, particularly for officers who may travel outside the occupied territories.
Another notable aspect of the event was the instruction to organizers of official ceremonies not to film Israeli military personnel. This measure aims to prevent the identification of Zionist soldiers amid heightened international legal efforts targeting the regime’s military actions.
This decision mirrors precautions taken at a ceremony in late March, where 120 Zionist soldiers were honored by the regime’s president. According to Hebrew media, the soldiers’ identities were concealed for security reasons.
Zionist legal advisors and officials are increasingly cautious about the risks of international travel and the identification of military and security personnel. Global investigations into Zionist soldiers have intensified following the release of videos documenting their involvement in war crimes in Gaza.
Reports indicate that the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) chief prosecutor, in addition to previously issued arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu and former war minister Yoav Gallant, is pursuing further warrants against Zionist officials.
According to reports, Karim Khan, the ICC’s chief prosecutor since 2021, is seeking a new round of arrest warrants related to the Zionist regime’s war crimes during the Gaza war. However, The Guardian reports that Khan has been instructed not to issue public statements about future arrest warrants or announce his intent to request them.
This directive for silence aims to shield the ICC’s investigations into allegations against the Zionist regime from further public pressure.
