The people of Gaza have long lost hope in the United Nations
In an interview with Mizan, Hadi Ajili, PhD stated: "The people of Gaza have completely lost hope in the United Nations and other so-called international organizations that claim to support human rights. The silence of these organizations in the face of the Zionist regime, or their expressed inability to curb the widespread genocide by this savage regime in the Gaza Strip, clearly demonstrates that these organizations either do not want to or are incapable of restraining the occupying regime of Quds. In either case, this indicates that the structure and function of these international organizations fundamentally do not align with their charters and proclaimed objectives."
Ajili added: "During the recent conflict, we observed that the United Nations Security Council convened multiple times but was unable to even issue a simple statement condemning the killing of civilians and children by the Zionist regime. The structure of the UN Security Council and the unconditional support of the United States, as well as countries like the United Kingdom and France, for Tel Aviv are the reasons for this. This issue is not limited to the recent conflict in Gaza. In other conflicts involving the Zionist regime, where numerous innocent people and children are martyred, the Security Council acts passively."
