Israeli regime's attack near Syrian Presidential Palace

The Israeli broadcaster stated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and War Minister Israel Katz issued a joint statement emphasizing: "We attacked a target near the presidential palace in Damascus and will not allow any threats against the Druze."
The Hebrew media added: "We will also not allow the deployment of forces in southern Damascus or any threats against the Druze community. This attack was a message to the Syrian regime."
Hebrew media reported that Israel informed Abu Mohammed al-Julani, the leader of Tahrir al-Sham and head of Syria's interim government, about the attack location beforehand.
This marks the second attack by the occupiers on Syria within two days. On Wednesday, Israel announced it had attacked Syria under the pretext of defending the Druze.
In this regard, Israeli media quoted Netanyahu admitting: "Israel attacked a target near the presidential palace in Damascus." Subsequently, the occupying army issued a brief statement confirming that it had carried out attacks near the presidential palace in Damascus. The occupying army emphasized: "Warplanes attacked the area around the Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa Palace in Damascus." Syrian media also reported hearing explosions in Damascus, coinciding with the flight of warplanes.
This incident occurred hours after Katz threatened that if the Syrian government, in his words, "fails to protect the Druze minority," Israel "will respond with force." In a statement on Thursday, he said: "If attacks on the Druze resume and the Syrian regime fails to prevent them, Israel will respond with great force." He added: "Following the attacks on the Druze in Syria on Wednesday, the Prime Minister and I instructed the Israeli army to carry out several warning strikes against extremist groups. A clear message was also sent to the Syrian regime, which is responsible for preventing these attacks."
Katz continued: "We are committed to protecting the Druze and are monitoring the situation. If attacks on the Druze resume and the regime fails to stop them, we will respond with great force."
Avichay Adraee, the spokesperson for the occupying army, also stated: "Early Thursday, two Syrian citizens from the Druze community were transferred to Israel for medical treatment. They were taken to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed after being injured in Syria."
He added: "Israeli army forces are deployed in southern Syria and remain prepared to prevent enemy forces from entering the area and Druze villages. The Israeli army continues to monitor developments and remains ready to defend and confront various scenarios."
