Hamas denies rumors of assassination of al-Qassam Brigades spokesman
The movement warned against rumors spread by the Zionist regime claiming that “Abu Ubaida,” the spokesman of the al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza, had been assassinated.
In its statement, Hamas emphasized the following points regarding these rumors:
Source of the rumors: The origin of these claims is the occupying regime, which pursues specific intelligence and psychological objectives through such fabrications.
Regime-controlled media: The occupying regime’s media outlets operate under the authority of the army and intelligence services, and no news is published without security clearance.
Regime’s history of spreading rumors: Experience has shown that the occupying regime spreads false reports about the assassination of resistance leaders in order to push them and their communication networks into specific behaviors, thereby collecting and updating the intelligence needed to target them.
Call for vigilance: We call on our people not to pay attention to the occupying regime’s rumors, as they are part of a psychological war aimed at weakening the internal front.
