Silencing the Press: Three more journalists killed in Gaza
Medical sources confirmed that the Israeli occupation army bombed Al-Maamadani Hospital in Gaza City.
According to a report by Al-Manar news network, these sources emphasized that several people, including three journalists, were martyred in the attack.
Media reports identified one of the martyrs as Suleiman Hajjaj, a journalist with the Palestine Today network.
Ismail Badah, another journalist and photojournalist with Palestine Today, was also martyred during the attack.
The third journalist, Samir Al-Rifa’i, worked for the Shams News Agency.
In this regard, the director of Al-Maamadani Hospital in Gaza confirmed that Israeli forces directly targeted the hospital, resulting in the martyrdom of three individuals.
With the martyrdom of these three journalists, the total number of media personnel killed since the beginning of the war on Gaza has risen to 225.
Meanwhile, sources at Nasser, Al-Maamadani, and Al-Shifa hospitals in Gaza reported that the number of people martyred in attacks on the Gaza Strip since early this morning has reached 23.
In this context, the head of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate stated that the Zionist occupiers committed a massacre in which three journalists were martyred at Al-Maamadani Hospital.
He further added that since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s aggression on the Gaza Strip, the occupiers have destroyed 115 media offices in the area.
