Intelligence Minister: Enemy’s plot to divide Iran foiled by armed forces’ missile superiority

The Intelligence Minister stated that enemies had planned to divide Iran and install a puppet government, but thanks to divine support, the wise leadership of the Supreme Commander, and the capabilities and missile superiority of the armed forces, the plot was completely thwarted.

Seyed Esmaeil Khatib told the Hamadan Provincial Security Council that the enemy, global hegemonic powers, and arrogance tried to use the latest technological and military capabilities to harm commanders and key defense bases that play a central role in protecting the country and the system, but they failed to achieve any success.

He emphasized that the enemy sought to design a puppet government as the future ruling authority in Iran and attempted to block avenues of hope, progress, and potential diplomatic breakthroughs.

Khatib also described the enemy’s use of media tools to shape public perception in Iran as another part of their plan to create instability. He explained that in this hybrid war, the enemies tried to provoke Takfiri and ISIS elements from Syria, sending them toward Iran, particularly the southeast, to carry out assassinations, sabotage, and other destabilizing actions, which — by divine grace — did not succeed.

The minister stated that, thanks to divine support and the wise leadership of the Supreme Commander, the country achieved a major victory. He added that the enemies, along with their puppet leaders, had planned to divide Iran into smaller countries and install compliant future leaders. However, through swift replacement of commanders and the strength, determination, and missile capabilities of the armed forces, the country secured a significant triumph.

He noted that the enemy had also planned to flood the country with weapons and create instability, using tools such as money, agitation, creating dissatisfaction, distrust, labor strikes, protests, and social media campaigns to undermine society and attempt a regime change, but their goals were not achieved.

Referring to instability within the Zionist regime, Khatib said that in its 70-year history, Israel had never experienced internal insecurity or instability. This changed for the first time during Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, continued by Hezbollah, and further exposed by the missile capabilities of the Iranian armed forces, showing Israel’s vulnerability at its peak.

He described the enemy’s request for a ceasefire during the 12-day war as a sign of weakness and a major victory for the Iranian people and revolution.

Khatib added that the enemy had assumed the people were discontented and would create chaos with the arrival of Israel, but contrary to the goals of the global hegemonic powers, unity and solidarity among the people prevailed.
