Two years of war: Unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza

06 October 2025 - 14:03:23
Category: home ، General
Two years after the war on Gaza began, the Strip has been reduced to ruins: more than 76,000 people killed or missing, over 20,000 of them children, and 90 percent of the territory destroyed. Behind every statistic lies a shattered family, a silenced classroom, a hospital turned to rubble. What emerges is not only the story of Gaza, but of the largest humanitarian catastrophe of our time—one that continues to unfold before the world’s eyes.

On the eve of the second anniversary of the historic Al-Aqsa Flood operation and the ensuing war waged by the Zionist regime against Gaza, the Government Media Office in the Strip released last night the most prominent statistics on the genocidal crimes committed against civilians.

The office stressed that the updated figures present a tragic picture of the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe and the widespread destruction affecting all aspects of life in Gaza — from residents, martyrs, and the missing, to the sectors of health, education, agriculture, economy, and infrastructure.
